Software engineer · Earth · Nigeria
Hi, I'm Godswill. On the internet, MaziiDev.
I'm a software engineer from Nigeria. I build intelligent systems, backend infrastructure that scales, and practical products, often aimed at real problems in Africa. Some days that means LLM pipelines, some days Kubernetes, some days a Flutter app that has to run smoothly on a budget Android phone.
This blog is where I write down my own view on technology: how things actually work, what I think they mean, and the notes and research I collect along the way. Partly so you don't have to read everything. Mostly so I remember it by Thursday.

What I build
AI infrastructure & LLM systems
The plumbing that makes models useful in production, not just in demos.
Scalable APIs & architectures
Backends that keep their promises when the traffic shows up.
Agents & intelligent automation
Systems that act on their own, with limits that actually hold.
Mobile apps with Flutter
Because most of Africa is online on a phone first.
Smart contracts & Web3
Where a bug isn’t a ticket, it’s a headline.
Cloud & distributed infrastructure
Where everything fails eventually, so you design for it.

Yes, I studied physics. It turns out debugging distributed systems is mostly thermodynamics with worse documentation.

How I write
- I explain the mechanism, not just the headline. If I can’t explain how it works, I’m not ready to have an opinion on it.
- I say what I think, and why. You’re free to disagree. Bring reasons; I usually learn something.
- I keep facts and opinions apart. What a source says, what I infer, and what I think are three different things.
- I link my sources. So you can check my work, which you absolutely should.
- No “this changes everything”.Almost nothing changes everything. Most things change something, which is more interesting anyway.
